Our Story


The Legion Sportsbar was built on a love for community, camaraderie, and good times. Located in the heart of Oakes, North Dakota, we opened our doors with one mission: to create a welcoming place where friends, families, and neighbors could gather, relax, and enjoy themselves.

We’ve combined the spirit of small-town hospitality with the energy of a sports bar—offering everything from guest chef nights and specialty drinks to dart leagues, pool tournaments, pull tabs, and more. Whether you're here to catch the game, try something new from our fry bar, or just hang out with good company, The Legion is your spot.
